SKELD Systems — Limited Product Warranty

 

Effective Date: 02/27/2026

Lake Group LLC “SKELD Systems, warrants to the original purchaser (“Buyer”) that products manufactured by SKELD Systems will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal industrial use and service for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of shipment.


What This Warranty Covers

This warranty applies only to SKELD Systems–manufactured components and assemblies, including:

•Drain port adapter kits
•Fluid monitoring assemblies
•Hose and fitting assemblies
•Oil sampling and level components
•Temperature/RTD integration assemblies
•Filtration systems

 

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not apply to:

•Improper installation, misuse, abuse, or neglect
•Operation outside rated pressure, temperature, or fluid compatibility limits
•Unauthorized modification or repair
•Normal wear items (seals, gaskets, hoses, elastomers, thread sealants)
•Corrosion or chemical attack due to incompatible fluids or environment
•Damage during shipping, handling, or storage after delivery
•Third-party components (covered only by original manufacturer warranty)

 

Buyer Responsibilities

Buyer is responsible for:

•Verifying product suitability for the intended application
•Proper installation and torque practices
•System cleanliness and compatibility with lubricants/fluids
•Periodic inspection and maintenance consistent with industrial practice

 

Warranty Remedy (Exclusive Remedy)

If a defect covered by this warranty is reported within the warranty period, SKELD Systems will, at its sole option:

•Repair the Product,
•Replace the Product, or
•Issue credit for the purchase price of the defective Product.

This remedy is the Buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy.

 

Warranty Claim Procedure

1.Notify SKELD Systems in writing within 10 days of discovering the defect.
2.Provide product identification, purchase reference, and description of failure.
3.Obtain Return Material Authorization (RMA) before returning any item.
4.Return product freight-prepaid for evaluation.

Warranty applies only after SKELD Systems inspection confirms a warrantable defect.

 

Disclaimer of Other Warranties

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED ABOVE, SKELD SYSTEMS DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

 

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

•SKELD Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including downtime, lost profits, or equipment damage).
•Total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the affected Product.

 

Non-Transferability

This warranty extends only to the original Buyer and is not transferable without written consent from SKELD Systems.

 

Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA.
